Apogee Engineering, LLC is an African American owned, 8(a) certified SDB company headquartered in Colorado Springs, Colorado with offices and support personnel in Dayton, OH, Washington DC, Omaha, NE, and Atlanta, GA. Founded in 2004, Apogee Engineering provides technical advisory and engineering services to the Department of Defense (DoD) and Department of Transportation (DOT). Apogee Engineering is led by Mr. Wes Georges, President and Chief Executive Officer.

Our Clients: As both a proven prime contractor and a value-added subcontractor, Apogee Engineering proudly provides our services to Headquarters Air Force Space Command (HQ AFSPC), Headquarters NORAD-USNORTHCOM (HQ N-NC), Space and Missile Systems Center (SMC), Aeronautical Systems Center (ASC), US Strategic Command (USSTRATCOM), the USAF Academy, and the DOT Crisis Management Center (CMC).

Apogee Engineering provides client services in three key functional mission areas.

  • Space Systems - Providing systems engineering, software test and evaluation, Information Assurance (IA), Information Technology (IT), Training, Technical Help Desk, and Operations Support services to Air Force Space Command (AFSPC), Space and Missiles Systems Center (SMC), and 50th Space Wing (50SW).

  • Intelligence, Surveillance, & Reconnaissance (ISR) - Providing program acquisition and technical assistance, integration, and operational transition support to the ISR & Special Operations Forces (SOF) Directorate of the Aeronautical Systems Center (ASC).

  • Homeland Security and Defense - Supporting NORAD, USNORTHCOM, JFHQ, and the DOT  with Information Operations (IO) and Communications Security (COMSEC), Cyber Warfare, Emergency Management, Exercise, Strategic Communication, Airspace Battle Management and 24/7 on-console Transportation Management services.
