Delivering Rapid Response Solutions
for Civil Defense Systems

 

Apogee Engineering supports our Nation’s most critical response and defense systems in providing concepts of operations (CONOPS), operational response planning, crisis and national management for the North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD), U.S. Northern Command (USNORTHCOM), and the Department of Transportation (DOT).

Our staff provides comprehensive Computer Network Operations support, including Computer Network Defense (CND), Computer Network Exploitation (CNE), and Computer Network Attack (CNA) through development and support for operational plans and policies, exercise planning and participation, CONOPS and instruction development, education and training, and executive management. Apogee Engineering develops models and simulations including operational and systems views to determine risks, mitigations, shortfalls, gaps, and duplications of current and future capabilities using the Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF).

Our staff collaborates with FAA and NAV CANADA on cross-border air C2 operations such as the Vancouver 2010 Olympics and U.S./Canadian cross-border missions.  Apogee Engineering is actively working airspace C2 and National Airspace System (NAS) integration issues for NORAD in conjunction with programs such as NextGen (the next generation national airspace system) and Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS).

Apogee Engineering supports the global synchronization and national response planning for pandemic influenza (PI) and infectious disease outbreaks including a full range of plan development and maintenance in accordance with the Joint Operation Planning and Execution System (JOPES) and the Adaptive Planning and Execution System (APEX).
 
Apogee Engineering provides 24/7 contract support to the DOT for the Crisis Management Center (CMC). Our staff ensures our client’s top priorities are met, working and organizing with over 60,000 DOT and related organizational staff across the country, in the Office of the Secretary of Transportation (OST) and its operating administrations and bureaus.

Our staff is dedicated to ensuring our clients are best prepared to quickly organize and manage recovery efforts for national emergency events such as hurricanes, earthquakes, terrorist and cyber attacks, defense mobilizations and major transportation incidents, with carefully designed plans, well prepared staff and leadership, and quick-response solutions.
