Apogee Engineering provides trained and certified test engineers to developmental, operational, and integrated test and evaluation events.
Our Developmental Test and Evaluation (DT&E) focus and involvement begins early in a program’s acquisition cycle where our staff performs an analysis of alternatives (AoA) review and delivers a quick-look assessment to the client. This assessment process ensures requirements are realistic, testable, meet technology goals, and are implementable and supportable when an initial operational capability (IOC) declaration is made.
Apogee Engineering understands the benefit of applying subject matter experts and hands-on field experienced staff to each Operational T&E (OT&E) event. We fully understand the challenges of integrating program technologies and systems, as we have led and supported multiple OT&E program events, integrated test team (ITT) working groups and test and evaluation management plan (TEMP) development activities. As test directors and certified systems engineering experts, our staff looks for ways to apply automated test management solutions through use of commercial management tools such as the IBM Rational Tool suite. These tools help ensure sound requirements and analysis practices are followed, provide critical configuration management parameters, and allow for quick-turn analysis reports to be generated upon request.
Apogee Engineering’s DT&E goal is to identify and capture near and future-term issues or problems as early as possible, using our analysis and recommendations to resolve any challenges before they impact program schedule and budget.
